Live Application Demos

Demo Instructions are in Microsoft WORD Format

1. Print this page. It contains instructions for downloading and installing demos.
   
   
2. These demos require a PC running Windows 9X, NT, or newer releases.
   
   
3. Create or select a temporary folder to hold the downloaded file(s). This can be done using the Windows Explorer.
   
   
4. Click on the appropriate item to download the file. The files, when inflated and installed will require about 20 Megabytes each.
   
   
5. In the temporary folder, using Explorer, double click on the program file name. It has the extension of .EXE. Follow the install instructions.
   
   
6. After the programs install, Microsoft's WORD will be started and the tutorial instructions will appear. The instructions were created using WORD 97. Print the instructions. If you do not have WORD, other word processors, such as WordPerfect, can usually convert WORD .doc files. The tutorial files will be located in F:\My Documents\Frey. The file names are: BUCSINS.DOC CUBICINS.DOC CHIPSINS.DOC
   
   
7. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you print and follow the tutorial instructions. The tutorial will provide you with the necessary passwords, sample information and a walk-through of the system's features. After the initial tour, you are welcome to explore the system at your leisure.
   
   
8. To run the demonstration, click on the appropriate icon and follow the instructions in the documentation.
   
   
9. NOTE: To run the CHIPS demonstration, you must first install and run the BUCS tutorial reset. CHIPS accesses files in the BUCS system. BUCS must also be installed in the default BUCS directory.
   
   
10. To remove the demonstration programs:
    • Click on My Computer, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
    • Click on the appropriate Demonstration
    • Programs are now removed
      
      
11. If you wish to remove the temporary directory. Use Explorer.
